The SALSETH consortium is composed of 4 institutions from academic sector: (1) University of Novi Sad (UNS), Serbia, associated country; (2) Wroclaw University of Science & Technology (WUST), Poland, member state; (3) University of Malaya (UOM), Malaysia, third country; (4) Curtin University (CUU), Australia, third country, as well as 4 organizations from industrial sector: (5) Materials Research Centre (MRC), Ukraine, associated country; (6) WEST Aquila (WEST), Italy, member state; (7) Naturality Research & Development (NAT), Spain, member state; and (8) Ayus GmbH (AYUS), Germany, member state.
University of Novi Sad (UNS) is the second largest university in Serbia with around 5000 employees and 50000 students. Comprehensive, entrepreneurial oriented university with 14 faculties and with 390 accredited study programmes (according to the Bologna declaration). UNS has signed bilateral agreements with more than 140 leading institutions worldwide. UNS is the most active organization in Serbia in H2020 and FP7 projects. Awarded with a prestigious acknowledgement – the Logo of Excellence in the field of improving the work conditions of researchers. UNS is new headquarter of the Secretariat of the Consortium of Higher Education Institutions in the framework of the cooperation of the Republic of China and 16 countries of Central and East Europe.

Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (WUST) is the leading scientific and educational centre in Poland with almost 30000 students educated by 2000 academic teachers in 16 faculties. Materials Research Centre Ltd. (MRC) is an R&D company with about 20 years of experience in materials science and materials engineering, 3D modelling and simulation, equipment design and manufacturing. MRC focuses on synthesis and modification of carbon nanomaterials and development technologies in areas such as nanostructured materials for biomedical application, energy conversion, structural applications, and energy storage.

WEST Aquila S.r.l. (Wireless Embedded Systems Technologies L’Aquila), WEST, is a high-technology and well-established Italian SME with independent premises. Its main activities lie in the area of wireless networked embedded systems. The background of the company relies upon system design methodologies, wireless networked embedded systems and heterogeneous distributed networks. The co-founders have brought into the company the experience gained through participations to European-funded projects and through long-lasting R&D collaborations with many companies, e.g., Thales Communications, Magneti-Marelli, Synopsys, Selex Communications (Finmeccanica Group), Accent S.p.A., and PARADES. The main expertise of WEST lies in the development of innovative solutions and technologies for networked embedded systems, which encompass the development of large-scale system level simulators and network testbeds.

NAT has been established in June 2016 in Terrassa, Spain as an R&D entity hiring Lab facilities in LEITAT Technology Center (Terrassa, Barcelona, Spain). NAT is developing at the Lab scale clathrates of small organic molecules (molecular complexes of organic molecules with cyclodextrin molecular cages) as new antimicrobial complexes. Pilot scale production is under way with industrial third partners. NAT is also developing nanoemulsion technology designed for targeting multiresistant microbes.

AYUS GmbH is a German based company founded in 1990 as a supplier of natural therapeutic essential oils and aromatherapy products. Its OSHADHI collection is a line of special high quality organic, and essential oil products that is offered in shops and to professionals in over 30 countries around the world. The company has 65 employees (full time and part time) at the moment and reaches an annual turnover of around 8 Million EUR / by the end of the present fiscal year.
